We are seeking experienced Roofer / Rough caster to join our team. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for repairing roofs on residential buildings. carrying out roughcasting repairs. This is a physically demanding role that requires working at heights and using various tools and equipment. If you have a strong work ethic and the necessary skills, we would love to hear from you.

you will be working with a skilled Labourer and a company vehicle is supplied

**Responsibilities**:

- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare the surface for installation
- Install new roofing materials, including shingles, tiles, or metal sheets
- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out roofing components
- Ensure roofs are properly sealed and waterproofed
- Follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Roofer / Roughcaster or in a similar role
- Knowledge of roofing & Roughcasting techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to read job sheets and liase with Tenants and your team
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in roofing
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £14.00-£17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
