Graduate Nutritionist

You will engage with key stakeholders and will translate complex nutrition information into simple messages relating to food and health. The nutritionist will support the food offer with knowledge of legislation around food and nutrition including the Food Information Regulations.
You will also lead on our health and wellbeing website, Nourished Life and the social media platforms that run alongside it. You will be wholly responsible for the content on the website, ensuring it is accurate, up to date and engaging.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Attends Chertsey twice a month
- Manage Nourished Life and social media
- Develop content for Nourished Life and ensure it is engaging, accurate and up to date
- Key support with projects under the Wellbeing Promise e.g. plant forward
- Translating complex nutrition information into simple facts and figures
- Provide expert knowledge of legislation around food and nutrition
- Working in partnership with other members of the nutrition team to share knowledge
- Work with key stakeholders from the sectors to ensure collaboration and a joined up approach to nutrition, health and wellbeing

- Confident in communicating to large groups of people and controlling challenging meetings/conversations
- Confident in delivering evidence-based nutrition and food education to different audiences
- Experience of creating website, social media or podcast content (desirable)
- Must be willing to travel and attend Chertsey twice a month
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates Compass values and recognition principles
- Ability to quickly gain credibility with key stakeholder groups
- Professional, organised, presentable, efficient and self-motivated
- A passion for keeping up to date with research and national health events
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to manage a busy diary independently
