**Job Introduction**:
Working under the direction of the Event director, you will be responsible for producing industry leading, commercially viable repeat conferences.

You will immerse yourself in the sector, network with key industry figureheads, build compelling conference agendas, find, and secure credible speakers and manage the whole content process. With support you will validate new topic ideas for launch events.

**Role Responsibility**:

- To create a comprehensive topic briefing document for all events which among
- other things will outline:

- Speaker Acquisition - Identifying high-level, influential industry experts to speak/present at our conferences.
- Project Management - Working with all internal teams, editorial, sales, marketing & operations to ensure the success of the conference and that it is delivered on time and in budget.
- Prior to each event hold briefing calls with the chairs, speakers, and panellists to confirm details of their sessions.
- To work closely with the editors/content leaders - providing relevant information in a timely manner, ensuring the events are on-brand and fit the brand guidelines.
- To provide feedback to the editors relating to all elements of the events.
- Development and delivery of the content plan on time, within the planning cycle.
- Build and develop relationships with key industry players and consortia is a fundamental part of the role

**Marketing**
- High engagement with marketing team/agency to deliver the overall visitor numbers.
- Attract quality attendees.
- Measures and monitors marketing campaign activities against agreed business objectives.
- Formulate and deliver on-line strategy for event registrations.
- Promote the content of event in magazine, DM/online and other methods reflecting the brand.
- Be responsible for briefing external agencies on the content strategy to ensure we produce great results.

**Sales**
- Support the commercial teams in generating sponsorship and exhibition revenues.
- Provide detailed promotional material to the team to aid their commercial strategy.
- Maximise industry relationships.

You will have experience of launching new events or growing existing ones, with a strong, strategic mindset.
- Proven track record of content creation for conferences.
- You will be a highly experienced conference executive and will have experience as a b2b Conference Producer working in medium and large-scale events (300 -1,000 delegates)
- Be able to demonstrate & have experience of extensive primary and secondary market research for the purpose of producing an event on a particular topic within strict timeframes. Making sure the content addresses challenges that are real and current for each industry at the time of the conference.
- Experience at creating an event that attracts monetary investment. Be able to understand strategically what content will attract sponsorship and how to create different opportunities throughout the agenda that meet the objectives of different companies.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Ability to multi-task on many different projects, whilst remaining highly organised
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong copywriting ability
- Excellent organisational skills and time assessment
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and working under pressure
- Creative and innovative
- Excellent at building relationships and working with a range of stakeholders
- Makes sound decisions based on fact rather than emotion. Analyses problems skilfully and uses logic to reach solutions.
- Maintains high standards despite pressing deadlines and does work right first time; corrects own errors and regularly produces accurate, thorough professional work.
- Approachable, positive, and able to lead and support speakers and colleagues before, during and after the events
- Able to work as part of a team but to take responsibility for the production of events and related content.
