Ocean Recovery & Wellness Centre is unique and innovative private Residential Detoxification and Rehabilitation Centre situated on Blackpool's North Promenade with superb views of Blackpool beach and the sea. Our clients are at the heart of everything we do, and we believe that the care experience we give them should never be less than excellent, supporting them in achieving their identified goals and aspirations is pivotal.

We support people through detoxification and in to our unparalleled and inventive rehabilitation programme. This consists of group work, 1:1 keyworker sessions and other therapeutic interventions. We also link in with AA and NA.

We are looking for a very experienced, talented, compassionate, dynamic, and committed Recovery Worker to join our team. You will have extensive groupwork delivery experience, a minimum of two years’ experience working with addiction, preferably, but not necessarily, in a residential setting. A minimum qualification of level 3 Health & Social Care, or equivalent, along with experience or knowledge of Twelve Step and SMART Models. Extensive Group Work skills are imperative, as is a caring, consistent, reliable, creative, and person-centred approach to all the work that you do.

You must be able to evidence excellent verbal and written communication skills, be computer literate and able to develop and maintain a positive and productive working relationship with colleagues and be willing to go the extra mile at all times. You will be resilient and vigilant with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of our particular client group. Experience of completing CIWA and basic observations would be an advantage, but not imperative if willing to learn.

This is a full-time post (42hr week) worked on a 12 hour shift rota including alternate weekends. 5.6 weeks annual leave. All meals on duty.

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£27,460.00 per year

- NMC (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
