The Charity is the Acne and Rosacea Association UK (ARA UK) whose President is Professor Tony Chu

This role is part or full time and integrates charity activities with SkinMed support for clinics

This is a role paid for by SkinMed and your contract will be with SkinMed.

**Job functions and descriptions**
- **Promote the charity, its aims and values and benefits to medical and aesthetic clinics**:

- **Improve the management and treatment of acne and rosacea.**:

- **Improve the diagnosis and treatment of acne and rosacea in the UK**:

- **Promote the charity to sufferers needing support and advice**:

- **Build a national network of accredited treatment centres**:

- **Build a support network of accredited pharmacy advice centres**:

- **Building an ‘hub and spoke’ model network where the clinic is the hub and pharmacies and other groups feed into this.**:

- **Develop a mutually beneficial relationship between pharmacies and clinics.**:

- **Promote accredited clinics to local health groups, organisations in primary care and also to any organisations who may have significant numbers of sufferers.**:

- **Recruit more acne and rosacea specialists to the Advisory Board of the charity in conjunction with Prof Chu.**:

- **Assist in liaising on diagnostic support for clinics by President and other charity board members**:

- **Promote the benefits of a medical aesthetic clinic becoming an accredited treatment centre and its massive impact on recruitment of new aesthetic clients.**:

- **Encourage clinics to see the 6 million women over 30 with maturity onset or chronic acne and/or with rosacea and/or acne scarring and/or thread veins as not only great potential future aesthetic clients but how being accredited differentiates your clinic offering from beauty salons and other aesthetic practices.**:

- **Maintain and update the Word Press charity website**:

- **Co-ordinate production and design of charity support literature and social media posts**:

- **Monitor and promote the forum on the website and build a support network online and on the phone, plus having accredited clinic members becoming involved in chat and forum.**:

- **Administer the Accreditation process - recruiting clinics, assisting them through the training, exam and accreditation process**:

- **Promoting SkinMed support for this process and promoting SkinMeds assistance in promoting accredited clinics to their local rosacea and acne population.**:

- **Promote SkinMeds training support for any clinics which wish to offer SkinMeds treatment protocols which are endorsed along with others by the charity. Pass interested clinics onto SkinMed Clinical Support staff**:

- **Promote the Scarring masterclass as an additional offering to all aesthetic clinics as shown on the The Skinmed Academy**:

- **Liaise with President of Charity on events, speeches, improvements.**

Full time/Part Office based and home based

- Salary - £20,000 - £40,000 per year
- Full time: 36 hours per week
- Hours:9:00 - 17:00
- Free parking
- 1 hour’s lunch

**You**:
will have a passion for skin, beauty and delivering blemish free smooth wrinkle free skin is a key requirement. Professional telephone skills, relationship strategy skills. Knowledge of science, biology and some chemistry would be an asset. Good organisational skills and experience in following Standard Operating Procedures and ensuring delivery of the marketing messages and documenting accurately and succinctly the outcome of calls and increasing sales and setting objectives and activities for future calls are skills we will be looking for.

We aim to recruit through February and into March while the new office expansion development is completed and be training from start date into and through September.
