Working in the marine sector for over 30 years, Intertek Energy & Water, has built a record of excellence in delivering a diverse range of environmental, sustainability, energy transition and specialist environmental studies for offshore renewables, submarine cables, oil & gas, and other sectors. As a company, our services have evolved, and continue to do so, providing our clients with the best solutions, delivered with the environment at their core. We undertake a range of environmental studies and modelling, including EIA, SEA, HRA, marine studies, coastal and water quality monitoring, oil and gas permitting, carbon management and GIS specialisms. The role will give the successful applicant experience across various sectors and projects, potentially providing opportunities for travel and secondment into client offices.

**Responsibilities**

**Required skills and experience**
- BSc or MSc in GIS, Geography, Environmental, Data Science or a related discipline
- Experience using ArcGIS 10.7 or above and QGIS
- A creative mind with the ability to design visually impressive materials
- Able to operate to high quality standards
- Flexible and able to multi-task with a variety of projects and people
- Willingness to develop new skills
- Exposure to ArcGIS extensions (e.g. Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst) and ArcPro.
- Knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS StoryMaps and Model Builder.
- A keen interest in programming (e.g. Python, VB.NET, VBA)
- WebGIS/database development
- Competence with Excel formulae and macros
