Dog Trainer

**Duties**:

- Conduct dog training sessions for clients, both individual and group sessions
- Assess and evaluate dogs' behavior and training needs
- Develop customized training plans based on individual dogs' needs and goals
- Teach structured and established training plans
- Utilize positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors
- Provide guidance and support to dog owners on training techniques and strategies
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions and progress

Hours are 2 evenings (weekdays), All day Saturday, Friday am and Sunday am

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a dog trainer essential - experience of taking classes a must
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients
- Knowledge of various dog breeds and their specific training requirements
- Familiarity with positive reinforcement training methods
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for dogs

**Note: Formal education in dog training is required.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

**Salary**: £11.00-£20.00 per hour

- Training: 1 year (preferred)
