**Title**:Group HR Administrator
**Salary**: £28,000 - £33,000
**Location**: Southampton (hybrid)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group HR Administrator to join the HR department in our Head Office in Southampton, supporting our UK and Group offices. This role provides key support as first point of contact for a range of day-to-day HR queries from internal and external customers, providing advice and guidance on HR processes and procedures.
You should have previous administrative experience & CIPD Level 5 within a busy office environment and proficient in the use of PeopleHR or similar HRIS system.
**Responsibilities**:
Human Resources:
- Support Group Senior HR Advisor in Employee Relations and various HR projects.
- Advise employees and managers on Company policies and procedures in line with relevant legislation and labour law.
- Lead and assist HR team in responding to general employee enquiries, employee onboarding, change of status, and leave processes.
- Work closely with payroll in Finance ensuring that all changes are added to the payroll report with documentation that provides an audit trail.
- Liase with external partners, such as healthcare and pension providers, to manager benefits and legal compliance.
- Ongoing file management ensuring that all documentation is stored correctly on PeopleHR.
- Chase for new starter documentation, such as qualifications, medical questionnaires, proof of right to work in the UK, proof of address and proof of ID.
- Compile regular reports and presentations related to HR metrics, such as absence and turnover rates.
- Update confidential information using the internal HR system, respecting the need for confidentiality and Data Protection.
Learning and Development:
- Update training records accordingly on PeopleHR for new and existing staff, with the view of all staff having an up to date and complete training record.
- Assist in gathering feedback and data from any learning carried out across the business and then support the L&D Specialist in future training planning, based on these metrics.
- Assist in the creation of eLearning to aid learning in different departments across the group.
- Help Systems and Training Manager with uploading new courses and creating Categories or Pathways to assign to new and existing employees to upskill or reskill.
- Support in encouraging eLearning to be completed and a mindset of career development Group-wide.
**Essential skills, qualifications and experience**:
- Qualified CIPD, ideally to level 5.
- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience in administration or data entry.
- Be a fast learner and be able to hit the ground running.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet, HRIS, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Self-starter with excellent time management, multi-tasking and organisational skills.
- Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and to keep to strict deadlines.
- Skilled at prioritising obligations.
