Milk Education is working with an exceptional primary school in Middleton to hire a Learning Support Assistant working within their EYFS department working with a child on a one-to-one basis with autism. We are looking for creative Learning Support Assistantto contribute to the progression and support having ideally supported those with special educational needs. The School have let me know that they are looking for an individual's who is enthusiastic and passionate about furthering childrens education

**Responsibilities**:

- Previous experience working with children, or young adults, with ASD and complex needs.
- Provide one-to-one and group interventions for children with Special Education Needs and Disabilities.
- Supporting the development of individual education and behavior plans facilitating pupil progress and raising attainment in targeted areas.
- Providing regular to pupils and teachers on achievements and objectives.
- Monitoring pupils’ responses and progress to learning activities and interventions whilst acknowledging methods to facilitate pupils’ progress and achieve intended learning outcomes.
- Managing time effectively to assist and support pupils.
- Creating positive relationships with colleagues, pupils, and parents/carers to support effective learning.

**Requirements**:

- DBS Check.
- Ability to monitor pupils’ responses and progress to learning activities and interventions whilst acknowledging methods to facilitate pupils’ progress and achieve intended learning outcomes.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to uphold policies and procedures relating to child protection, data protection, and health and safety to ensure the protection of children.
- 5-day-a-week availability
