Trainee Swimming Pool Cad Designer

Due to the continued expansion and growth of the business we have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee CAD Designer to join our friendly but ambitious team.
**Location**
Based in Send, Surrey we mainly cover London and the south of the UK. The role is mainly office based but with site meetings and visits.
**Main Duties**
You will be working alongside our existing experienced design department and be responsible for producing 2D working CAD drawings, schematics and technical information to support the installation teams on site and also communicating these ideas to other stakeholders including clients, main contractors, architects and other suppliers.
Working with the sales and project management staff you will attend design/support meetings both on site and remotely and be involved throughout the design evolution of each project from conception to completion.
The role will require design input on many projects, tasks typically including: filtration system design, equipment control design, pool layout and structural detailing design, pipework and plant equipment design, air handling design and more.
We are a small but growing team and there will be a need to also assist with all office and contract administration and other daily tasks

**Required Characteristics**
A reliable and self-motivated individual with the ability to work unsupervised
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and working within a fast-paced environment
Ability to pay attention to detail
Hold a full & clean driving licence
**Experience**
Evidence of some experience of using AutoCAD 2D CAD software to create construction/engineering drawings or schematic design
Comfortable using Microsoft office package (spreadsheets and word processing mainly)
Friendly and willing to help with tasks outside of design at times, we are a busy team and need to be flexible at times to work towards a common goal
- Desirable:_
Experience in the pool industry would be advantageous, although training will be given. Engineering, construction or similar experience would be beneficial.
Experience managing your own workload and timetable, we use Trello and Dropbox for task and information management currently
**Package**:
Full time employment
£20,000-30,000 dependent on age, experience & qualifications.
Company Pension
20 days holiday + bank holidays
Supply of uniform, laptop, investment in further training.
**Schedule**:
Monday to Friday 9-5 (8-4)
