**Alumni and Fundraising Administrator**

**Pay**: £17.42 per hour

**Duration**: 8 weeks, Possibility for permanent role

**Location**: Greenwich - Hybrid working 2 days in office

**Hours**: Temporary, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with 1-hour lunch

**Purpose of Role**:
The Alumni and Fundraising Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support for the alumni and fundraising programs and team. This role will involve handling general administrative tasks and assisting with finance administration, including processing purchase orders, invoices, and expenses. Serving as the primary point of contact for alumni, the role will prioritize exceptional customer service, ensuring accurate alumni database management and facilitating effective communication with alumni.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the wider Alumni and Fundraising team and its programs.
- Support alumni engagement program communications, including maintaining social media presence.
- Coordinate alumni events and aid with supporter/VIP events as directed by colleagues.
- Handle sensitive and confidential matters appropriately.
- Exercise judgment and creativity in resolving challenges, adhering to procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in work.
- Proactively identify and contribute to the resolution of ineffective processes and procedures.

**Person Specification**
- Experience in an external-facing role.
- Experience in coordinating events or fundraising.
- Excellent writing skills adaptable to various audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Tactful, diplomatic, and discreet demeanor.
- Experience in Higher Education or a charity environment.
- Working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or other CRM.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills.
- Ability and willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends.
