IT Engineer

Following continued growth and investment, a leading manufacturer has a new vacancy for an IT Engineer to join the team. Working at their modern facility, you will work closely with the IT Manager to develop new systems, improve processes and provide a highlevel of IT support to the business.

**Salary**: £ 35,000 - £ 45,000 + benefits

The Role

Key responsibilities:
Provide a high-level support to IT systems and users
Support all user systems managing escalation of support issues with third party maintenance provider
Lead development work on new IT projects
Administer of enterprise security software suites
Assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Servers
Develop and provide user training where required.
To perform other such duties which correspond to the nature of the position and its level of responsibility.
This role would also suit an individual interested in developing their knowledge in wider business

Proven track record working as an IT Technician or IT Engineer within a fast-paced environment. (Distribution, Manufacturing or similar)
Excellent communications skills
Excellent broad IT skills and understanding of hardware, software set-up, operating system configuration and networking
Naturally helpful and adaptable while being curious natured with a willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
Good communications skills
Experience administering Office 365 & Sharepoint 365
