Little Learners Childcare (N.E) Limited are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, committed and motivated Nursery Officer to join our growing staff team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an outstanding, supportive staff team with excellent training opportunities, to ensure a high-quality service is provided. Due to an increase in number of children we require a full-time nursery officer all year round or Term
- time position. Applicants must be willing to work flexible hours between 7.15am and 6pm and attend staff meetings or any training required out of the “normal” working hours. Applicants must:

- Hold a minimum of a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years and Childcare Qualification (NNEB, BTEC National Diploma or equivalent) in line with the EYFS statutory requirements
- Newly qualified staff must hold a current paediatric first aid (PFA) certificate within the first 3 months of starting work
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and demonstrate how these would be put into practice
- Have a good knowledge of child development and planning of programmes for the children
- Be passionate to promote and deliver high standards of stimulating, educational care in a safe and happy environment
- Work in partnership with parent/carers to meet the needs of each individual child
- Communicate effectively with all staff, children, parents/carers and other professionals
- Work in partnership with staff, parents and children of St Cuthbert’s RC Primary School and outside agencies
