**About Our Client**
Our client is a small, independently run care home in Ryde, on the Isle of Wight. They offer affordable, high-quality care for their residents and pride themselves on helping them lead happy, fulfilling lives through the support of an experienced and professionalcare team.
They are currently seeking a Registered Manager to join them on a permanent, full-time basis, working 38 hours per week.

**The Role**
As the Registered Manager, you will ensure that our client’s Care Home remains a safe and secure environment for both residents and staff during the delivery of high-quality care.
Managing the delivery of a professional care service, you will complete pre-admission assessments and ensure care respects individual physical, mental and social needs.
Providing expert leadership, you’ll complete annual appraisals and oversee staff recruitment and development to ensure a broad skill base within the team.
Additionally, you will:

- Maintain effective relationships with medical and care organisations
- Oversee the administration of medication to residents
- Complete risk assessments and manage H&S
- Organise a balanced, nutritious menu
As part of your role, you will be required to work two weekends per month.
**About You**
To be considered as a Registered Manager, you will need:

- Previous experience in a Care Home Management role
- Knowledge of the Care Inspectorate and local authority requirements
- Strong commercial awareness and competency within the care industry
- A positive and compassionate approach to delivering care
- At a minimum, an NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care
