Wheelchair Therapist

Shire Healthcare are currently supporting a specialist Wheelchair Service with the recruitment of an Occupational Therapist based in West Yorkshire. This is a full-time, permanent position although our client will also consider part-time applicants.

The role:

- Assessing and prescribing specialist mobility equipment
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Providing supervision to junior colleagues
- Managing and prioritising a caseload of children and adults
- Providing a customer-focused service

The ideal Occupational Therapist:

- Holds a relevant Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered
- Experience of completing assessments for wheelchairs/postural equipment
- Holds a full UK driving license and willingness to travel
- Previous experience of working at a band 7 level
