With our Headquarters in Hong Kong, we have sales and marketing support in the UK, New York, Paris, Singapore, and Hong Kong and 5 Manufacturing facilities specialising in Haircare, Colour Cosmetics, Fragrance, Skincare and Body care.

Job Overview:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer within our Supply Chain team.As a Buyer you will be procuring cost effective raw materials, components and packaging items within a designated area of material spend.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing the creation & processing of purchase orders from the MRP II system
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers & internal departments.
- Managing and resolve quality, cost, lead time & supplier delivery issues
- Responding to pricing and product enquiries from internal stakeholders
- Updating and maintaining the data sources that drive our core processes
- Independently managing a fast-moving and ever-changing priority list
- Evaluation of quotations and negotiation of cost prices/tenders
- Contributing to the supplier selection process
- High level of Supplier interface essential to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Risk assessment & effects on working capital

**Experience**:

- Educated to GCSE level with English and Maths
- Experience of category management within a supply chain environment
- Experience with high volume of product sku’s within an FMCG, retail or distribution environment.
- Experienced with inventory planning and management
- Experience of MRP/ERP systems
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrable ability to negotiate and influence both internal and external contacts
- Strong analytical and decision making skills within a priority setting
- Examples of working with NPD from a procurement position
- Previous experience in an FMCG business is desirable but not essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
