Hgv Tehcnician

We are currently recruiting for a temp to perm role
- HGV Technician based in Taffs Well.

You will be joining a company that specialise provides workshop and mobile assistance to heavy goods vehicles including trucks and trailers. This will include 6-weekly inspections, MOT testing presentation and livery washes.

.Contract: Temp to perm

Shifts: For the first 6 weeks you will be working 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday (training) then you will move to below shift pattern

Week 1 6am - 2pm

Week 2 10am - 6pm (with Saturday 6am - 12pm)

**Salary**: up to £17 per hour, negotiable DOE. Overtime hours are paid at time and half.

As a HGV Technician you will be based at the commercial workshop where you will carry out:

- Inspections
- Repairs
- MOT’s
- Welding
- Diagnostic work
- Experience with tail lifts and double deck trailers (preferred)
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Heavy goods Vehicles & Construction
- Plant Mechanics - 5 years (preferred)
- HGV License (preferred)


About you:

- You will have a strong work ethic,
- Be comfortable working on a busy production line, where you are on your feet for the majority of the workday.
- You will be able to follow precise instructions
