Technical Author - £570/day (inside IR35) - Need SC - Cheltenham

Role:
This should be a short generalist statement which identifies the general purpose of the role and key responsibilities.
General Category of project - I.e. Business Change in People/ Tech/ Operations/ Culture.
Identifies how the job and function purpose aligns with company values.

Required:
Oversee new minor and major projects within a challenging, fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Creating designs for relevant document styles and website layouts;
Producing user-friendly guides;
Producing support guides and their derivatives, e.g. technical descriptions, illustrations, etc.
Creating and maintaining business product web pages;
Producing user-friendly training materials in varied formats, e.g. PowerPoint, help files, document guides etc.
Producing security accreditation document sets.
Creating and maintaining business product web pages.

Technical skills:
Possess a thorough working knowledge of the tools used for text and illustration creation
Have sufficient understanding of media formats to identify appropriate tools to suit our client’s chosen target environment
Excellent ability to elicit key information from a diverse set of technical and managerial staff; very flexible and willing to be deployed on to many and varied tasks across the delivery spectrum;
Having an in-depth understanding of interfacing with and transference of documents between MS Word, XML and Acrobat would be highly desirable;
Ability to integrate and animate the graphics using style sheet construction would also be highly desirable.
