The Student Life team at the University of East London sits with the Student Services Directorate. Student Life is a dynamic, fast-paced department that provides students with co
- and extra-curricular opportunities ranging from financial management workshops to trips around the UK. We also design, deliver, and support new student orientation activities and assist students with securing safe and supportive off-campus housing and community engagement opportunities.

**About the Job**

As the Senior Campaigns & Communications Officer you will be an essential member of the team providing a connection between our department and our students through clear communications and engaging campaigns. This role is responsible for creating a buzz around our events and broader offerings, ensuring an awareness of what we can provide and enticing students to attend and participate.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you'll need:
Essential
- Experience recording and editing video content.
- Experience designing communications and marketing campaigns, with knowledge of the key factors that influence engagement and success.
- Experience designing promotional materials.
- Experience of engaging audiences on social media, across multiple channels, using Hootsuite or similar software, to analyse performance and monitor impact through pre-defined success criteria.
- An ability to demonstrate understanding of how language should be adapted to suit its audience and document type. Able to create channel-appropriate messaging.
