**Job Purpose**:
Controls the flow of materials and tooling for all operational activities

**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:

- Reports to the Stores Manager.
- Responsible for ensuring that a highly effective and efficient supply of materials and tools are available at all times.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records of tool (including certification and calibration) and stock control.
- Responsible for handling stock requisition notes and liaising with Purchase for all requests.
- Responsible for identifying surplus and obsolete stock and scrap, disposing of inventory in accordance with regulatory and EH&S requirements.
- Responsible for checking the accuracy of all documentation / release certification for inbound aircraft parts and the timely booking in of the goods.
- Administers COSHH data to relevant personnel when issued with appropriate materials and maintains records of all products, including the disposal of waste (shelf-life ex) in accordance with regulations.
- Reallocation of stocks and ongoing stock maintenance tasks to maximise efficiency in storage areas.
- Responsible for Goods Inwards including all regulatory procedures and processes are adhered to including stores inspection, quarantine, segregation, batching, booking into stock etc.
- Checks the delivery details are correct, including stamping and endorsing driver’s copy of delivery notes and recording on the Company system.
- Processes and resolves queries, batching, sorting and collating completed requisitions.
- Participates in the perpetual stock checking function. Support and participation in a rolling stock take to take place on a daily basis and also in annual stock take (annual stock take completed out of normal working hours, including weekend working).
- Ensures issues and receipts of stock and implementation of all other stores procedures and practices are executed in a safe and responsible manner to comply with all safe working practices in relation to EH&S policies and procedures.
- Liaises with stores customers (internal and external) to maximise service levels.
- Arranges for any repairs to plant and tool and organises re-certification/testing/calibration as required.
- Assists the Stores Manager in preparing and managing the budget/costs associated with delivery the plan.
- Delivers objectives and projects as defined by the Stores Manager.
- Adheres to the Company’s Environmental Health and Safety Policy.
- Supports the Stores Manager in producing and distributing relevant daily/monthly management information and KPIs for the Stores.
- Responsible for responding to allocated NCRs relating to the Stores.
- Attends meetings as required.
- Embraces and contributes as required to the Company’s Continuous Improvement Programme.
- Keeps work area clean and tidy at all times.
