Our residential service can support up to 4 adults with a range of support needs including learning disabilities, autism and other complex care needs. We empower each person to live life the way they choose to.
The purpose-built residential accommodation is decorated and furnished to support individual preferences. The many communal spaces throughout the building include TV lounges, a life skills kitchens, a sensory room, an activity room and a fully adapted bathroom.
**About you**
**Do you have previous experience working in care, leading a team and want to further your development within a Team Leader role?**
This is an opportunity for a pro-active Team Leader to join an evolving and supportive care company. You will need to have previous experience of working within a care role and experience of leading a team. In addition:
- Hold or be working towards a Level 3 in Health & Social Care
- **‘Potential, Responsibility, Integrity, Diversity, Empathy’**_
**The Role**
- Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower their team in supporting the people they support to achieve their goals and aspirations.
- You will be proactive and support the development and skills of Support Workers. This will include recruitment, induction, supervisions, annual appraisals, training, coaching, rota management, sickness and absence management.
- Take the lead to help Support Workers understand their responsibilities and by doing so ensure that safe, effective, caring, responsive and well lead support and care is delivered at all times.
- Ensure that all the people we support have person centered support/care plans. You will be able to create and update these plans as per any changes that are required.
- To oversee and support the development of excellent quality within the service. You will design, develop and maintain excellent service user records. Working in a supportive manner that empowers the service user to live their life in their chosen manner.
