Stores Operative

**STORES OPERATIVE (Backshift)**

**Duties will include**:

- Ensure goods are booked in accurately including the locations where they are stored;
- Keep factory supplied with any requests for stock;
- Ensure stock out to the customer is picked accurately, to the right standard and is issued on a first in first out basis;
- Ensure cold store is kept tidy and that all goods are stored in a manner that protects the quality of the product;
- Carry out random stock checks to ensure the book stock is the same as actual.;
- Highlight any concerns such as slow-moving stock or stock that may become an issue later.

**Experience & Qualities Required**:

- Excellent timekeeping and attendance;
- Adaptable to business needs and change;
- Practical, enthusiastic with a flexible approach to work;
- Familiarity operating standard vehicle equipment eg, pallet trucks and reach truck;
- Forward thinking with the ability to operate in a logical and strategic manner.
- **A valid Reach Truck and/or Counterbalance Forklift License**_ would be preferred _**but not essential as training could**_ be _**provided.**_
- **Working Hours: Monday to Friday - Approx. 3pm to 12am.**_
- **This role will involve weekend work.**_
