Diagnostics Imaging Assistant

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**: Ensuring the smooth running of clinics Assisting in the care and comfort of patients Assisting Sonographers and Radiologists during examinations Ensuring the clinical room is prepared prior to the start of clinical sessions Using the patient information systems (Soliton/PACS) Monitoring and maintaining adequate stock levels and ordering supplies of linen, gowns and consumables Ensuring and maintaining a patient centred and quality focused approach to all aspects of work Ensure patients have access to a chaperone at all times Uphold Global Diagnostics professional standards policy Uphold data protection and patient confidentiality at all times Confidentiality In the course of seeking treatment, patients entrust us with, or allow us to gather, sensitive information in relation to their health and other matters. They do so in confidence and have the right to expect that staff will respect their privacy and act appropriately. In the performance of the duties outlined in this Job Description, the post-holder may have access to confidential information relating to patients and their carers. They may also have access to information relating to the Clinic as a business organisation.
All such information from any source is to be regarded as strictly confidential. Information relating to patients, carers or the business of the Clinic may only be divulged to authorised persons in accordance with Healthshares policies and procedures relating to confidentiality and data protection. The post holder will be required to participate in Healthshares annual Mandatory Training components. The post holder will be required to adhere to effective manual handling techniques due to the requirements to lift and move both equipment and assist patients. Full training will be given. No Smoking Policy Healthshare operates a no smoking policy.
As a term of your employment you may be required to undertake such other duties and/or hours of work as may reasonably be required, commensurate with your general level of responsibility with the organisation.
