Decontamination Operative

**The Best Connection Hanger Lane are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Equipment Handling and Quality Assurance Specialists**

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive and refurbish returned medical equipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on both returned and new stock.
- Assemble equipment according to specifications and conduct pre-issue checks.
- Collaborate with the in-house occupational therapist to catalog returned specials and provide support during prescriber visits.
- Manage the stock inventory, raise Delivery Query Reports for defects and quantity differences, and ensure accurate documentation of all used parts.
- Utilize the stock management system to maintain accurate records and support monthly finance reconciliation.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in equipment refurbishment and quality assurance.
- Knowledge of medical equipment and the ability to conduct detailed quality checks.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members and prescribers.
- Familiarity with stock management systems.
