We are seeking an Academic Clinical Lecturer based at the University and the Royal Liverpool Hospital site of Liverpool University Foundation Trust interested in pursuing a career in Academic Hepatology with a special interest in alcohol related harm and early diagnosis of liver diseases. Work relating to early diagnosis of both alcohol use disorders and pharmacotherapeutic approaches and early diagnosis of liver disease utilising screening with biomarkers and non-invasive modalities across the wider Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care System covering primary, secondary and third sector care providers. You will contribute to existing projects but be encouraged to develop new initiatives and multi-disciplinary collaborations. You will have clinical experience at speciality registrar level, including core training. This post is designed for trainees who can demonstrate outstanding potential for development as a clinical academic.

This is a fixed term post until 30 June 2028.
