**The Company**:
Our PE-backed client is an integrated producer and supplier of biogas and biomethane using its own proprietary, state-of-the-art technology. They build, own and operate distributed biomethane plants, operating across several countries in Europe, and are expanding rapidly.

**The Role**:
They are looking to hire a Chief Operating Officer to help them achieve their targets for scaling the business. The COO will be responsible for managing the operations and associated P&Ls of the organisation. The COO will work with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure the successful delivery and operation of facilities on a global basis (the initial focus is Europe), and will ultimately be responsible for leading the team that will deliver the sales and new contracts for the organisation.

**Experience and Skills**:

- Track record of successfully managing P&Ls and budgeting.
- Commercial experience in negotiating and securing contracts.
- Experience in ongoing client management responsibility.
- Growing a business in new countries.
- Solid understanding of sales and business development.
- Proven ability to successfully operate across European markets.
- Degree Qualified.
- Energetic, Self-starter.
- Trusted relationship builder and team player.
- A second European language would be an advantage.
- A degree in engineering (preferred).
- 10 years’ experience (preferred).

**Salary**: £140,000.00-£150,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme

Ability to commute/relocate:

- London, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
