Amazon Customer Excellence Systems (ACES) are the owners of operational process improvement initiatives and ensure process fidelity and driver for continuous optimisation.

The Learning Execution team, under the overall umbrella of ACES, owns quality of process training to both sortation associates and DSP-owned delivery drivers, through 3P partners. To continue to drive process excellence within our Last mile Delivery business, we are looking for self-driven ACES in-country project managers to work in the driver training (DT) space. This will be a vendor facing role, based out of one of the EU corporate locations, with a responsibility to build 3P vendor interactions, ensuring providers capacity, capability, and quality of training for the geography. This role will report to the EU team senior manager.

As an ACES Project Manager, you will drive DT process standardization & optimisation, and ensure vendor quality in both delivery workflow and content. You will also build training capacity mechanisms, manage vendor contractual obligations, DSP-DA registrations etc. You will also partner with the TrEAD (EU Driver Training Team) managers to manage the vertical, along with sufficient knowledge and appropriate tools to improve DSP performance.

The ACES Project Manager will own the launch of the externalized driver training service for their country. Your goal is to ensure smooth Driver Training at geography level, both in scale and function, with simple and practical solutions by developing a deep knowledge of the operational processes, and seamlessly tying them back to vendor ability. Creating effective communication plans on vendor capacity to provide visibility to all impacted teams of the organization will help you to enable overall DT process alignment, in your geography. The ACES Project Manager will work closely with 3P training providers at various stages as they set strategy, help drive accountability and engagement, and motivate and track key performance metrics.

As the first-hand vendor contact in-country in the DT space, you will work to contribute towards network standardization and training capacity utilisation. You are in charge of monitoring the delivery success through the DSPs & training vendors and on road performance indicators. You will set up vendor action plans and execute them to drive current performance and DT accepted goals, through the TrEAD team managers.

In this position, you are a key driver for successful order execution by the drivers and thus positively influence our customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate 3P training providers vetting and engagement, ensuring the defined service level agreements.
- Ensure that training capacity and scheduling mechanisms for 3P providers are in place, to meet volumes demand.
- Deploy Process Standard implementations in the driver training space.
- Support development and continuous piloting of DT process improvements and ongoing benchmarking initiatives, with a focus on 3P vendor practices.
- Ensure vendor management understands benchmark standards and is trained in technical configurations to drive accurate reporting.
- Monitor, report and support delivering improvement on key on-road metrics.
- Management of adhoc requests for flex up and down of DT capacity at in-country level for Prime and Peak.
- Provide best in class support for 3P training provider as they transition from training to fully operational and creating communication bridge ensuing training content updates.
- Supervise 3P training provider readiness through training and advise on audit processes.
- Create effective reporting for leadership to provide insights into the health of 3P training provider performance.

This role will be based in EU corporate offices.
