Reception Ta3

Milk Education is working in partnership with a supportive and high achieving, primary school in Chorlton, who are looking to recruit a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to work in their Reception class. This role will be Monday-Friday 08:30-16:00 startingIn January 2023 with the possibility of a permanent contract after successfully completing a three month probationary period.

This role could also lend itself well to someone who has been working in a private day nursery or has recently completed a degree in Early Years and Childhood Studies and is looking to transition into primary education.

Job Responsibilities
- To work under the direction of the teacher in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
- Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with the lesson plans and assist with the display of pupils’ work
- Work closely with the teacher, to support pupils to achieve learning goals, targets/appropriate to EYFS
- Assist with the planning of learning activities
- Monitor pupil’s responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed
- Provide detailed and regular feedback to teachers on pupils’ achievement, progress, problems etc
- Level 3 CACHE or equivalent childcare qualification i.e, Childhood Degree
- Have fantastic working knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and be familiar with the seven areas of development
- Have full availability from January 2023
