Outreach Lay Worker

We are seeking to appoint an Outreach Worker to develop outreach opportunities in the church and the wider community. This post is new to the Circuit and offers an exceiting opportunity to explore and develop new mission activites across the Circuit. The person we are looking for must be:

- A committed and practising Christian, with an understanding of Methodism
- Able to work alone, but as part of a wider team
- Able to adjust to working with permanent residents and also visitors to the area
- Trained (or willing to be trained) in all aspects of Safeguarding, including risk assessment
- Flexible in regard to hours of work
- Possessed of interpersonal skills
- Able tp demonstrate relevant experience, particularly working with volunteers
- Experience of using and managing social media

A DBS disclosure will be required for this post.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: From £27,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- North Wales (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- North Wales: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
