**Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Key Stage 1 (Autism Focus)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support a student in Key Stage 1 with autism and challenging behaviour
- Work with the class teacher to create and implement individual education plans (IEPs) for the student
- Provide one-to-one support and small group work to ensure the student's needs are met
- Monitor and report on the student's progress to the class teacher and SENCO
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for the student

**Requirements**:

- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience supporting students with autism and challenging behaviour
- Understanding of the SEND code of practice and current educational policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school
- Availability to start immediately and work Monday-Friday on a full-time basis (08:30am - 16:00pm)
