Test Engineers required at a leading manufacturer of sophisticated vacuum products, exhaust management systems and related value-added services, integral to manufacturing processes for semiconductors, flat panel displays, LEDs and solar cells.
This company is based in Clevedon, BS21 - Ideally situated by M5 junction 21, an easy commute for anyone living in Bridgwater, Cheddar, Bristol or Newport.
- Start ASAP, full time permanent roles
- £36,114 - £41,067 per annum, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm. Fixed, non-rotational shift pattern
- Excellent overtime rates after 37.5 hours worked per week

About the job
- Testing gas abatement products including fault finding and rectification
- Leak/decay testing on gas, fuel and liquid lines
- Electrical (PAT) testing system and of components
- Use of test and measurement equipment - DMM, current meters, thermocouple readers etc
- Complete standard final test, build and calibration of machines prior to final despatch
- Document control using test report, schedule and other reference material
- Conduct reworks, corrections and modifications when required
- Use of hand tools and lifting equipment
- Collect, Deliver, and unpack components and assemblies as required
- Report errors in documentation, form, fit, or function detected during assembly
- Liaising with Team Leader to proactively maintain high standards of Safety, Quality, and Procedures during assembly
- Ensure and adheres to 5S procedures within the Cell
- Relevant electrical qualification
- Prior experience of electrical and mechanical fault-finding using schematics and mechanical engineering drawings
- Use of MS Office - Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc
- Understanding of Pneumatics, pumps, inverter functionality
- Knowledge of 5s, LEAN manufacturing, kaizen
