Corporate Togs Group Ltd is a family-owned company that supplies printed and embroidered workwear to businesses, SME's and individuals across the UK. We're the highest rated supplier in the midlands and due to expansion we’re looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking embroidery/print machine operator. We offer full training to all applicants, and we pride ourselves on our friendly, yet professional working environment. Experience is not essential, but for those with experience we are able to offer a slightly better rate of pay.

Your role will be to **work on our embroidery and print machines to complete customer jobs to a high quality and accuracy standard. **You'll also be involved in other general warehouse duties like booking in stock and despatching orders. It’s a varied and enjoyable role and we have a very low staff turnover.

**Principle Duties and Responsibilities**

**1. Quality Care**
- Check and prepare picked garments from work sheet
- Identify logo and branding placement from work sheet

**2. Embroidery Machine Operation**
- Turn equipment on/off
- Load embroidery logo file via USB
- Operate the digital display attached to the machine to set up logo
- Manually frame up garments and attach to embroidery machine
- Check and thread up needles where required
- Carry out any necessary maintenance during logo run and/or change fixtures

**3. Preparing orders for despatch**
- Pack garments according to customer requirements and company policy
- Sign off work sheet and place in despatch tray along with packed garments

**4. Reporting**
- Manage an effective workload
- Investigate and report changes to branded workwear that will impact production efficiency and keep records of this information.
- Record every job in a daily logbook
- Provide daily figures to the Production Supervisor

**5. Workstation**
- Keep a clean and tidy working area
- Perform daily and monthly maintenance of the Embroidery Machine.

**6. General**
- To comply with the policies of the organisation including our health, safety & environment policies.
- To attend training relevant to your role, as provided, and to actively and continuously review all work-related activities and suggest areas for improvement.
- To undertake any other tasks which are commensurate with the level and responsibilities of the post.
- To maintain the professional image of Corporate Togs when engaged in Corporate Togs duties.
- To demonstrate personal commitment and contribution towards the Branding Quality and Care Corporate Togs Group Ltd provides to its customers

**Person Specification**

**Education/Qualification/Training**
- Computer Literate
- Min of 4 GCSE’s or equivalent. To include English and Maths
- Full Driving License
- Training on our Embroidery Machine and print machines will be given.

**Experience & Knowledge**
- Proven working experience in the garment decoration industry would be an advantage
- Proven working experience in a production environment or relevant role
- Knowledge of embroidery processes or an interest in the processes involved.

**Skills**
- Ability to build rapport with internal stakeholders
- Ability to demonstrate effective time management and planning skills
- Numerate and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong IT Skills
- Embroidery or print experience - not essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours are:
8.00am - 4.45pm Monday - Thursday
8.00am - 4.00pm Friday
Overtime available on Saturdays when required.

**Salary**: £11.44-£11.80 per hour

Expected hours: 40.5 per week
