**The Role of a Craft Team**

Are you a skilled maintenance operative looking for a fulfilling role? Join our Craft Team and play a crucial part in the domestic repairs, maintenance upkeep, and minor projects within our site complex. As a valuable member of our team, you will ensure the safety, cleanliness, and optimal functionality of our premises, creating a welcoming environment for our students.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and good repair of all areas within the site, catering to the specific needs of our residents.

2. Maintain high professional standards of record keeping and prepare reports related to site maintenance.

3. Participate in regular audits to uphold quality systems.

4. Conduct inspections and address any works from contractors that fall below the required standard.

5. Ensure compliance with national regulations and inspection standards relevant to the core functions of our establishment.

6. Adhere to environmental health regulations and meet the standards set by regulatory bodies.

7. Take responsibility for managing your workload, ensuring effective and proactive completion of maintenance tasks.

8. Collaborate closely with the Regional Facilities Manager on larger projects and seek their technical expertise on repair, maintenance, or improvement projects.

9. Identify projects within the facility that will enhance its image, functionality, and operational efficiency for staff, students, and visitors.

10. Ensure projects are completed according to the set schedule, leaving areas occupied by contractors or suppliers in good condition.

11. Manage the upkeep of the grounds surrounding the facility.

**General**:
1. Maintain reliable and punctual attendance, following the required work pattern, which may include overtime if necessary.

2. Familiarize yourself with Cambian Group policies, stay updated on procedures and policy changes, and follow their contents.

3. Develop your own practice through the supervision and appraisal process, addressing your continuous professional development needs.

4. Maintain confidentiality regarding personal information of individuals in our care and employees.
