**Job Description**:
Pertemps are recruiting for a Stockroom Assistant to work with a Public Sector organisation based in Edinburgh on a temporary basis.

**Job Title**: Stockroom Assistant
**Hours**: 37 hours per week
**Pay Rate**: £12.37
**Start Date**: ASAP
**Contract Length**: 6 Months with possible extension
**Location**: Edinburgh (EH11)

**Main Duties**
- Responsible for the management of the Stockroom- Sorting stock items into bin areas/shelves with clear labelling and tracking- Responsible for stock control, counting goods and communicating with all relevant departments regarding stocking levels- Picking and packing goods for homeworking- Loading and unloading goods on to pallets and cages- Asset tagging**Key Skills**
- Customer Service experience- Experience within a similar role- Good verbal and written communication skills- Working independently to complete agreed tasks- Flexible in attitude and approach
