Reactive Roofer

Start date - End of November

Link Contracting are a fast growing maintenance and construction provider working for local authority, educational, retail and private sector clients.

We are looking to recruit experienced and enthusiastic reactive roofing operatives. You will be responsible for liaising directly with clients and their employees, working within Nottingham completing reactive roofing maintenance and planned work tasks to the highest standard.

**Role and Responsibilities of a Link Technician**
- Experience in the roofing industry is essential
- General all-round roofing knowledge
- Must be prepared to work together to hit the clients goals, enthusiastic, first time fix attitude.
- To understand, complete all work-related documentation accurately on time and to exceed the customer’s expectations.
- To understand & comply with policies and procedures
- To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner & comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
- To attend, fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required
- Must hold a full driving licence and be prepared to travel regionally.
- Must be able to work on own initiative and be competent at completing paperwork accurately.

**Person Specification**
- Must be willing to work at height
- A good general experience of working in occupied premises
- A good understanding of Health & Safety procedures in this high risk roofing environment
- The ability to communicate at all levels
- Must be IT literate / be able to use a PDA
- Clear communicator both oral and written
- A customer focused approach
- Must hold a full driving licence (with 6 points or less) and be prepared to travel.
- Must be prepared to join an on-call rota,
- Must be Flexible in working hours as occasionally may be required to start work early, or work out of normal hours, i.e. weekend working.
- Must be able to work on own initiative and be competent at completing paperwork accurately.
- Must have a CSCS** Card
- PASMA** - Desirable
- IPAF** - Essential
