**The role**

**The difference our new Aircraft Technician will make**

As a Aircraft Technician you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. This role will support all aircraft engineering, line, and depth maintenance; scheduled servicing and corrective maintenance and all other engineering related activities and serviceson company aircraft and aquipment including check A maintenance.

Day to day, you'll assist in the ground movement of aircraft, carry out flight-line operations i.e. preparation of aircraft for daily flying, "see-in" and "see-off", fuel and oil replenishment daily check A maintenance, complete all aircraft and equipmentmaintenance documentation in accordance with current legislation and company procedures. Undertake scheduled and corrective maintenance of the LAFT aircraft fleet, pre-use checks and scheduled maintenance of company owned ground support equipment, complete"all" documentation in accordance with current legislation and company procedure and other general duties as required, including, driving, stores duties, housekeeping etc. and other responsibilities as allocated by management.

**Essential Experience**
- Recognised aircraft apprenticeship, military experience or NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
- Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required.
- Driving Licence.
- Aircraft engineering experience.
- Basic IT skills: Outlook etc.
- Obtain or have the ability to obtain SC Clearance

**Desirable Experience**:

- Grob 115E experience, not essential as training can be provided.
- Defence industry experience.
- Sound understanding of partnering and alliance between customer and contract.
- Knowledge of MOD engineering procedures/documentation
