Barking and Dagenham College have a great opportunity for **Lecturer-Health & Social Care** to join our team.
We are offering a competitive salary of £24,872 p.a. - £43,440 p.a. incl London Weighting for this permanent, full-time.
**The **Lecturer-Health & Social Care** **role**:
As part of our Health, Social Care and Science Team you will use your experience and skills to teach and assess young people and adults, on one or more of the courses delivered.
**Key Responsibilities of our** **Lecturer-Health & Social Care**:
- Develop and implement learner-centred, learner assessment strategies in accordance with college policies
- Organize and take part in study trips with students, locally and abroad, to enrich their learning experience
- Undertake personal coaching / tutorial and pastoral responsibilities for designated learners
- Keep up-to-date with Quality improvement and enhancement initiatives
**Our ideal **Lecturer-Health & Social Care** **should have the following qualifications, skills and experience**:
- Possess a Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE) or be prepared to undertake a further education teaching qualification
- Have recent and relevant experience of teaching Science and/or Health & Social Care to learners from Entry Level to Level 3
- Evidence of recent teaching and assessment practical issues in delivering Health and Social Care and T level programme is desirable
- Ability to consistently provide a high quality, welcoming and supportive learning experience for all pupils
