Are you an experienced Financial Controller looking for a new challenge?
Our client is a dual-site manufacturing/distribution organisation who are going through an exciting period of growth, and they are now seeking to appoint a Financial Controller to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who wants toprogress their career within a forward-thinking and innovative company.
As Financial Controller, you will sit in the group senior management team and be responsible for the overall financial operations on both sites. Specifically, you will take ownership of:
- Leading the finance team across both sites, providing a consolidated pack
- Inter-company transactions
- Refine the current stock movements and inventory reporting systems, providing accurate movements in line with cashflow forecasting/pricing and ordering
- Seasonal forecasting, including margin analysis and industry/customer trends
- Working with procurement to smooth out stockholding, managing the import and export of goods and the timescales of movements
- VAT and Tax on imports and exports
- Lead from the front in all things finance and improve reporting controls and processes to provide accountability around the financials
The Successful Applicant:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with some industry experience
- Proven experience in a similar role with responsibility for managing all aspects of the finance function.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Sage 200 and advanced Excel skills.
