Qc Laboratory Manager

**Job Elements**
- The QC Laboratory Manager has responsibility for the quality control of the products within the laboratories.
- The QC Laboratory Manager must ensure GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) is maintained to be sure that testing results guarantee that product supplied to customers is of the highest possible standard.
- Team management / development and training
- Timely release of stock
- Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Review of customer testing requirements and integration into the laboratory.
- Drive continuous improvement in the laboratories to meet objectives.
- Management of non-conformances and reporting. To assist in investigations and facilitate the close outs.
- Participation during customer & regulatory audits.
- Degree educated in a science or engineering discipline.
- Experience of working in a chemical, microbiological, biological or pharmaceutical laboratory.
- Several year’s quality experience in a 'lean culture’ working environment
- Experience in lean manufacturing / continuous improvement techniques & tools 5s, Kaisen etc.
- Quality / Auditing experience in a 'lean culture’ manufacturing environment
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software
- Excellent standard of written English & Math’s
- Excellent communication skill & attitude
