**Description**:
The Faculty of Health, Medicine and Society is seeking to appoint a highly motivated Senior Research Assistant who will contribute to a research project on creative health by working with colleagues in the Faculty. The post will support the activity for the funded project aimed at designing and undertaking the Halton Borough health and well-being lifestyle survey. The project team will be based at the Wheeler site.

The Senior Research Assistant will support the standards and objectives of the research project set by the Principal Investigator and Research Team; this will also involve coordinating the activities of the university of Chester and Council research teams. Undertake research-related tasks, including preparing, setting up, conducting and recording the interviews and fieldwork, using the existing methodology and discussing with the Research Principal investigator.

You will hold a Master’s Degree or equivalent, and a PhD or working towards one is desirable. You will also have experience in partnership working. You will be required to work collaboratively and solve problems with initiative and creativity. The ability to gather, analyse and interpret research data and support report writing is a prerequisite.
