Are you a Quantity Surveyor with previous experience within the infrastructure sector?

Our client is a well-known civil engineering and construction contractor, they deliver outstanding civil engineering, infrastructure and commercial projects across the UK. The project you will be working on is a highways and infrastructure project in Oxford,you will be working alongside with a Senior Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager to innovate a major motorway in the UK.

**Within this role you will be**:

- Responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the commercial function of the project, i.e. cost management reporting and supporting, change management, procurement as well as sub-contract/special supplies administration.
- Understanding and competent execution of the monthly reconciled values and updated forecasts for approval by the Commercial Manager/Senior Quantity Surveyor.
- An understanding around the valuations cycle and associated deadlines, prioritising and managing both your own as well as the team’s time accordingly.
- Confidence and competency, with mínimal input from the Commercial Manager/Senior Commercial Manager with dispute resolution and contractual entitlement.

**About you**:

- Previous experience within civil engineering, infrastructure and heavy civil
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying
- Stable work history
