Permanent- Teesside- Posted 2 hours agoZenith People have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fabrication Inspector on a permanent basis. The purpose of this role is to inspect fabricated assemblies at various stages of assembly to ensure they conform with customer quality plan/drawings.

**Principle Accountabilities**:

- Weld procedure checking.
- Dye penetrant of assemblies.
- PMI testing of materials and welds.
- Checking completed assemblies against final inspection report.
- Completion of material location sheets.
- Liaise with appropriate personnel.
- Working safely throughout all activities in line with the companies safety standards and procedures.
- General 5S housekeeping / Operator PPM.
- Able to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
- Able to assist in fabrication of assemblies when necessary.
- ASNT DPI Level 2 certification.
- Potential training to C-SWIP 3.0 level
- Good communication skills: both written and verbal.
- A good understanding of health & safety, environmental issues and quality rules

**Rates of pay are as follows**:

- Trainee Rate = £12.22 (per hour)
- Lower Basic Rate = £12.90 (per hour)
- Mid Basic Rate = £13.99 (per hour)
- Higher Basic Rate = £14.30 (per hour)
- Trainee Rate (Inclusive of shift allowance on 2 shift pattern - 37 hr week) = £15.27 (p / hour)
- Lower-Rate (Inclusive of shift allowance on 2 shift pattern - 37 hr week) = £16.12 (p / hour)
- Mid-Rate (Inclusive of shift allowance on 2 shift pattern - 37 hr week) = £17.48 (p / hour)
- Higher-Rate (Inclusive of shift allowance on 2 shift pattern - 37 hr week) = £17.87 (p / hour)

Rates of pay awarded are dependent on qualifications held (i.e., CSWIP 3.0, ASNT Dye pen L2 etc)

This would be a shift-based position (2 shift rotation - days / nights) working a 37-hour week.

**Days**: 7:30am - 4:00pm (Monday - Thursday) / 7:30am - 12:30pm (Friday)

**Nights**: 10:00pm - 6:00am (Monday - Thursday) / 1:00pm - 6:00pm (Friday)
