Learning Disabilities Support Worker

We are looking to hire 3 Residential Support Workers and 1 Team Leader for a Client based in Wigan. They are wanting to hire as soon as possible. The company support all young people on at least a 1:1 basis, therefor you would not be left on your own with multiple young people to support.
**Duties**:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities
- Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions
- Plan and implement recreational activities and outings
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Support individuals in developing independent living skills
- Document and maintain accurate records of individual progress and activities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of disability support services and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanour
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and situations
**Benefits**:

**Salary**: £10.50-£13.00 per hour
Day range:
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday

- Night shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Wigan: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Home care: 1 year (preferred)
- Care plans: 1 year (preferred)
**Language**:
- English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
