**Hospital Porter - (FULL TIME) - QEQM Hospital - NHS**

We are looking for a Hospital Porter to be based at our QEQM Hospital in Margate, on a full time permanent basis.

**Salary**: £22,383 per annum

**Shift**: Working 5 out of 7 days per week - Variety of shifts around the clock, that includes some nights. **You will be given your rota 3 weeks in advance and work a variety of shifts, that include some nights.**

Porters are the heartbeat of NHS hospitals, making sure crucial goods and items are delivered where they are needed most. They also make sure patients are at the right place at the right time to get the treatment they need. We will cover costs for a DBS check if required for the role.

Main Duties:

- Sort, document, transport and deliver patients (including deceased patients), goods and records to wards and departments. Some of which may be heavy.
- Comply with the Trust infection and control and health and safety policies
- To liaise with colleagues and patients
