**1. ** **Role Overview**

Responsible for the receipt and checking of goods against orders, managing stores area(s) and the loading of goods outwards. Operate a forklift truck 3.5 ton+.

Book in / out stock using ERP system (SAP). General warehouse management.

**2. **Duties & Key Responsibilities**
- Book transportation with recognised haulier through online portals.
- Unload and store material deliveries, & book into stock.
- Load preparation and Despatch customer orders & generate advice notes.
- Create and Manage export documentation.
- Manage stock transfers to and from sub-contractors.
- Ensure effective, safe, accurate, and timely stock management to include space allocation, stock transfer and dealing with non-conforming product.
- Work closely with Purchasing and Production Planner(s) to carry out stock checks and improvement activities.
- Maintain stock integrity within Goods in / Outwards area and to the highest possible standard.
- Manage shelf-life stock to ensure only in date items are used and FIFO principles are followed.
- Manage vehicle utilisation to assist in the reduction of transport cost
- Maintain 6s standard for all Logistic controlled areas.
- May be required to drive company vehicles.

1. Assures system or product quality by abiding by ADM QMS procedures, work instructions & operating procedures.

2. Quality is the concern of every employee & it is every employees duty to inform those responsible for production / quality if a product does not conform.

3. All shelf life items to be managed closely.

**5. **Qualifications**
- Ideally come from an engineering and/or manufacturing background within Logistics.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages and have a clear understanding of ERP systems
- Hold Fork Truck Licence 3.5 ton “Previous experience essential but licence can be renewed by ADM”
- Full UK driving licence.
- Proven working experience as a logistics Supervisor
- Record of successful distribution and logistics management
