You will be responsible for overseeing and implementing ESG policies and procedures, as well as reviewing and appraising the Company’s investment strategy. You will also be responsible for reviewing the policies of service providers to ensure compliance with the fund’s policies.

Previous experience working with the SFDR, PRI and TCFD frameworks would be highly advantageous.

**Main ESG Functions and Responsibilities**
- Reporting against relevant ESG frameworks (TCFD, SFDR, PRI)
- To keep well informed of regulatory changes regarding ESG
- Be proactive in improving and implementing the manager’s ESG strategy. This will involve working with ESG consultants to identify critical social and environmental impacts and risks to investment strategies.
- Provide technical expertise on critical issues related to environmental and social impact assessment and on sustainability risks in the design, preparation, implementation and supervision of investments and operations, taking into consideration best industry practices and standards
- Manage and conduct environmental and social safeguarding due diligence prior to major acquisitions or selection of service providers, adding value to operations, including through external expertise where deemed necessary
- Formulate recommendations and requirements for Company action to continuously address compliance gaps where they arise
- Report on and disseminate good practices and generated knowledge.
- Incorporate Company ESG requirements and recommendations into applicable internal and investor-related documentation to ensure shareholder understanding of ESG policy.
- Monitor the environmental, social and governance performance of the Fund portfolio.
- Ensure that developers and service providers understand the applicable Fund policies, guidelines and project-specific requirements and have the necessary commitment and capacity to manage social and environmental impacts and/or risks adequately and to support the development of mechanisms that facilitate the implementation
- Work with internal stakeholders to mobilise technical and financial support to enhance the environmental and social sustainability of operations
- Conduct consultations with stakeholders in accordance with relevant policies and guidelines and be responsible for reporting findings

**Requirements/Qualifications**
- A working knowledge of the relevant ESG frameworks. (i.e., TCFD, SFDR, PRI)
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Excellent reading, comprehension and writing skills
- Attention to detail and discipline with deadlines
- Self-motivated and pride in work product
