Luton, United Kingdom Rochford Plant Hire Ltd Full time

Rochford Plant Hire Ltd are currently recruiting for a Plant Fitter based at their depot in Luton Beds to undertake maintenance, service and repair of all Rochford Plant’s equipment including Transit Vans, 4×4’s, Mini Diggers, Dumpers, Welfare units, Cut off saws, Electrical Items, Petrol Breakers, Generators, Small Tools and Specialist Tooling both mobile and in the workshop. Training will be provided.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Off-hire and pre-hire inspections
- Diagnostics of faults
- Reactive and preventative repair of the equipment
- PAT testing / test & run
- Accurate recording of job sheets
- Completion of all work in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Representing the business in a professional customer focused manner at all times

**Competency Requirements**
- Plant Qualification to Level 2 or 3 (desirable).
- Motor Vehicle Qualification to Level 2 or 3 (desirable).
- Valid Full, UK Driving Licence.
- Driving Licence includes Towing (desirable).
- Portable appliance testing (PAT) training (desirable).
- Physically fit.
- Communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
- Be reliable, prompt and have a flexible approach to working.
