This Digital Developer position will sit within a dedicated digital and innovation function, devoted to enabling this international organisation to gain a competitive advantage using transformational digital technologies. The organisation are committed to operatingwith cutting edge solutions and the successful individual will be an integral part of this, being responsible for developing functional solutions and quality assurance of software development practices within a portfolio of digital apps. This is a **hybrid role**requiring some site travel to various locations.
Primary Activities:
- Develop and maintain configuration / development documentation and functional design documents.
- Independently manage work to meet project schedules.
- Work closely with the DevOps Manager to ensure the execution of plans corresponds with what the agreed requirements / deliverables.
- Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout designs, development and testing. Competent in source control and follow development processes.
- Research and evaluate new technologies, communicate and share knowledge with team members.
- Hands on experience and passionate about coding but can map technology benefits to business requirements.
- Proficiency in all phases of Solution Lifecycle including: Analysis, Design, Coding and Delivery.
- Setting up, deploying and managing multiple environments to support agile development.
The Applications Director is looking for a competent and experienced Developer who can example their work **developing mobile, web, IoT and cloud solutions**, ideally using a stack including **Angular, Apache Cordova (Hybrid Mobile), Azure and REST API's.**Below is a full list of the requirements.
