We have a vacancy for a part time Temporary Cook to join a dedicated team who provide catering services to older people within Anderson’s Care Home, Elgin.

**Essential Criteria: -**

Catering experience within a commercial kitchen producing nutritional, tasty and well balanced meals.

Up to date Food and Hygiene Certificate

Knowledge and experience of home baking

You must be able to work on your own initiative with mínimal supervision, although full training will be provided.

**Hours**

The Cook will be employed on a temporary basis for two months, with a review at the end of this period, which could lead to a permanent position.

Hours of work are a minimum of 15 hours per week which will include weekend working, though not every weekend. The shifts will be between 8am and 4:30pm.

Overtime is often available though not guaranteed.

**Rate of pay is: £10.55 per hour**
