This is a really exciting time as our team is growing and we are looking for a Quality, Safety, Health & Environment Manager to join us.

- Responsible for ensuring that the Safety & Quality Assurance procedures are complied with across the division and the constant drive for continuous improvement.
- Perform inspections and audits at depot level.
- Work with site representatives to manage Safety, Quality and Operating Procedures including all Hygiene Operations, allergen management and pest control.
- Demonstrate the ability to develop, maintain and produce reports related to the safety and quality function, i.e. non-conformances.
- Support the sites to ensure the attainment of BRCGS & Organic certification at site following up any non-conformances.
- Deliver the Company’s safety management systems and advise on the performance of risk assessments and the review of SSOW to contribute recommendations for improvements.
- Provide specialist safety advice to management on control of health, safety and welfare matters and on the development of working practices that comply with relevant legislation and are in scope of ISO standards and principles.
- Ensure Depots adopt appropriate Health and Safety targets and standards for their own areas of responsibility in the control of loss and operation of best safety practice.
- Analyse incident trends for continuous improvement.
- Aid the delivery of Company energy reduction commitments.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a similar role with the understanding of relevant legislations
- NEBOSH General Certificate / Technical Member of IOSH
- Level 3 HACCP qualification / Internal auditing qualification
- BRCGS experience
- Good problem solving, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work both within a team environment and individually working to tight deadlines
